Teachers also have to know how to handle stressful situations and be able to handle the various personalities that come with students in the classroom. Teaching is definitely a job for those with a thick skin. Teachers nowadays are more than just teachers. They often have to serve as problem solvers and counselors as a part of their every day experience in the classroom. It is also good for teachers to be very organized and definitely well spoken. With private and religious schools it is also helpful and desired that the hired teachers have the same beliefs and values as the school does.
